Seeing this argument spread around only confirms that most people really have no idea how the anime industry works even on a basic level. Acting like the industry is some monolithic unified body that picks and chooses which works gets adapted and how good they will be.
Also did people forgot that lowbrow or generic shows are the purveyor of QUALITY in the industry? Do I have to bring up pic related?
