And putting aside that currently running popular works are the ones who, usually, get the best production, what's wrong with unknown works having one themeselves?
It's not a zero-sum game, like the people who make those kind of posts want to believe. Studios and production committees have different circumstances. It's not the same people doing the same work and choosing which one they put more into.
I understand people's anger. But the rationalisations they come up with shows that they have no understanding of how the industry actually functions.
