Thanks for the advice, I managed to open a second yellow bird from packs so I was able to make the full swap (along with related swaps like Rocky Helmet for Red Card and Leaf for X Speed) and I can already feel how much better this deck is doing in ranked matches.

Of course that's largely due to just how many decks are focused around EXs right now - take my latest ranked match as an example, where his Shinotic got clanged by Kommo-o, and then he threw out two Solgaleo EXs only to thud against the funny pompom bird.
