In the end, Dylan is not really free even if she ends up in a position of relevant influence, holding the Mikaelsen ranch. She doesn't have Corey around to dictate her life, but she's probably heavily traumatized by Kat's disappareance and she's compounded by the family expectations falling on her. Her father probably would have liked a man in charge and that could be a point of contention as well, as probably she had to deal with her parents blaming her for what happened to Kat.

But assuming Michel shows up Dylan's fate in M2 / Lost Records new game, how relevant do you expect the character to be?
