You were so closed to being right and then you said this. Disgaea is one of the best localized series I've seen.

But yeah, D4's cast is overrated as fuck.

The cast is pretty much just entirely characters written around one joke or personality trait. The main villain is retarded and stupid as fuck and his voice acting is horrendous. This little niggy is the one interesting character with an actual arc.
