Most shows opt to have (insert culturally relevant at the time of airing celebrity here) that most of the time it comes off as hokey and usually ends up dating the episode like picrel or the one with NSYNC. It's a fun riff on the cliche to make your guest star someone who isn't famous anymore or never was famous
