A more in-character Pearl PSA would be her learning a lesson about racism instead of teaching kids. Maybe she thinks humans have specific skills or societal roles like gems or something and Steven has to explain why that is wrong. Would have made more sense than the 'we wuz light bulb' thing we got at least.
