1. You can live comfortably enough in Sweden as a NEET. You don't need to work. You don't need to study. You can legally leach off the system for decades.
2. Homeless people have access to homes, food, money and help. But our homeless people are all mentally ill, junkies or end-of-life alcoholics who have given up. They do not care about anything but their drugs.
3. Prison here isn't a spa. You get a room, you get a bed, you get books and if you're a low risk inmate you might get a tv, radio and after years maybe an old console to keep you sane.
4. Picrel is pretty telling. Our system isn't perfect. But it's a LOT better than yours.
