I see "everyone gets worse" as when we act on revenge it deflects from the issue which is the fact that there's no standardized protection of emotions in society. There's laws that stop things that result from revenge but laws don't target revenge. They target murder, assault, stalking, property destruction etc. There should be a line drawn somewhere for morality as it concerns mental health instead of just physical health and OP doesn't think revenge has a place in it. I don't think so either. To me that looks like philosophy taught in school and reinforced culturally. That's my steelmanning of her argument anyways lol. What do you think?
