Expectations were set too high once the anime greatly enhanced Godspeed into some otherworldly move that makes it seem Zenitsu is fucking flying from a single dash, by making the 7th Form be a complete 1:1 adaptation from the manga without any enhancements will make some question why was Godspeed so different then.

Menwhile the very same movie goes on to greatly enhance Shinobu's and Giyu's fight with visuals and expanded parts that weren't in the manga, so in retrospect it further seems Zenitsu was picked to remain faithful to a T to manga on purpose.
