Clueless has a great feel to it with the exception of the "stepbrother+stepsister" semi-incest vibe.

The amount of "stupidity" going on is hilarious. It has the general wackyness which comes with movies directed by women but here it fits the style and enhances the basic elements of the film. Amy focused on the strong points for a female brain; fashion, money, clothes, style, dumbness, ignorance, prejudices, and makes comedy out of it. It succeeds because it never tries to become more than what it is - a bunch of shallow teenagers trying to act sophisticated and professional.

If you enjoy Clueless, I'd recommend Joss Whedons Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie from 1992.. It has a similar vibe with Kristy Swanson being a great substitute for Alicia Silverstone, naturally the vibes becomes less and less, the more the film focuses on the vampire slaying, but the whole scene with the yellow leather jacket is 100% "clueless"
