That primarily was with the ORAS cartridges because apparently they used shit materials because they were rushing against time and space for some reason. Other DS and 3DS carts were in far better shape
Side note: afaik, the only YouTuber who ever made a video repairing this shit was this dude. The problem? The video was a complete dogshit. He never explained shit about which tools he used, the camera was zoomed in up the ass so you cannot tell anything then made a promise by the end of sharing more detailed video but never delivered.
The crazy part: he made another video about the WiiU which was spot on with everything you need. So why he pussied out on the 3DS is beyond me
