The director always say that he wanted to make at least 4 or 5 seasons and that the only reason as to why he never made more before was because Gainax had the rights (and Trigger got them in 2021, thus allowing him to make more), I don't want more seasons however as if they already had to censor Garterbelt and took all the charm off Scanty & Kneesocks I don't want to see what 3 more seasons would be like
