I mean 6 years of dev time to make 2 chapters? Doesn't fully add up. Let's say a year of nothing happened as toby expanded his team since scouting, hiring and training people is quite a process, that gives 5 years of dev time with his full team. Unless i'm retarded and he didn't expand his team until like a year or two ago but afaik that's not the case. Given it took only him and temmie like almost 2 years to make chapter 2 after chapter 1 dropped, and Toby claims his team is working on multiple chapters at once instead of fully banging out one before moving onto the next (a really inefficient way of game development, but necessary at times. Especially when it's just 2 people) i'd like to imagine chapter 5 is essentially done by now, with some work on chapter 6 and a biiit of 7.

Tl;dr if i have to wait until December 2026 for just chapter 5, and then wait another 2 or 3 years for the final 2 chapters, i will scream.
