If you read more books, i.e. the entire point of this board (not religious flame wars), if you were more cultured and better educated, then you would know that most of the achievements of Germanic countries since the Reformation belong to Protestant culture. Appreciating Protestant culture is inescapable for any well read individual, ESPECIALLY in the English language, which you're all using.
