Concord designs are funny to me specifically because it shows how the higher ups genuinely don't have sense of taste for anything. You can say "that's obvious" but the thing is, you need to consider what they likely see day to day. The approval people in these companies probably see just whatever is popular, so the visual range they get to see is something between Call of Duty and Fortnite and that's it. And I could see someone like that looking at the Concord designs and saying "yeah this looks like something in between those two kind of" and just approving it. And that shit is so fucking fascinating and absurd to me
