I got the regular Barbatos, was and still am considering the Lupus as well, I do not like Rex though. Thankfully the frame wasn't as loose as I thought it'd be, if anything it's the Turn A that has bigger issues than the Barby.

You can't just have a show try to solely get by with "muh newtypes", afaik/imo it wewas good when it still ties into "war is bad", "we can and should try to understand people" etc themes rather than just... justify whatever obsession you want characters to have, and then give them trippy psychedelic rooms to give exposition in because there's no longer any way in the script to have them hold a conversation in real time.

But yeah, even the Shuji in the second-last episode felt different from the last episode one. He loves her and he's going to save her... but that's a reversal, he's going to kill her. Why or how will that work this time? You were never actively going along with the mav fights or any of the plot, so having girls obsess over you was never something intended or even something deeply considered. Really funny how little to nothing that Shuji was thinking or planning ever actually involved Machu or Nyan at all. Is this a fucking woman thing? Because I'll reiterate once again, that Quess was more sympathetic and I started to genuinely miss her.
