Is there any reason people seem to hate Unreal and love Unity for solodev stuff?

I'm looking to learn one of these for a future project.
Most my skills are in art/models/animation but I've done a few 2D games on the side.
I'll be doing porn animations for practice on it instead of my usual (Blender) but I do plan on making a 3D game using my animation skills.
