He had exactly 1 week to take advantage of the attention he was getting and unfortunately it seems like he only came up with the idea to seek funding to make a custom build of Unreal Engine with some settings tweaked by default right after the attention started dying off. It's really hard to sit through 30 minute videos that dissect how games are rendering frames. it's really interesting, but I can't muster the attention span, I'm not sure who can. He had the gaming world's attention for a full week which is invaluable, that's worth millions, but it was a flash in the pan and now it's gone. Crazy to think about.
