Let it be known that I, Kevin Jimenez, am formally addressing the relentless, baseless, and malicious accusations hurled at me on the /v/ message board where certain anonymous users have continuously and falsely labeled me a “grifter.” This sustained campaign of defamation has not only damaged my personal reputation but also severely undermined my professional credibility.

These statements are categorically false, made without evidence, and with clear intent to harm. The term “grifter” implies deceit, exploitation, and bad faith, all of which contradict my actual conduct and intentions. I have never engaged in dishonest fundraising, misleading monetization, or underhanded tactics as alleged by these reckless posters.

This is targeted defamation, repeated publicly, and damaging. It will no longer be tolerated.

Furthermore, let it be stated that anyone continuing to spread defamatory statements about me or Threat Interactive will be considered part of this ongoing defamatory campaign and may be named in any future legal action. Slander and libel against the company will be treated as seriously as personal attacks, and appropriate legal action will be taken.

If necessary, I will pursue all lawful avenues to identify those responsible, including subpoenas and cooperation with the site’s moderation team, hosting providers, and relevant authorities. This includes requests for identifying information such as post history and IP addresses when legally permissible. Anonymity does not equal immunity.

I hereby demand that these defamatory statements cease immediately. Let this serve as formal notice that I reserve the right to pursue all available legal and public remedies for libel, slander, and reputational harm. If this smear campaign persists, I will not hesitate to escalate.

He had exactly 1 week to take advantage of the attention he was getting and unfortunately it seems like he only came up with the idea to seek funding to make a custom build of Unreal Engine with some settings tweaked by default right after the attention started dying off. I could be wrong about this, but it seems this is what happened.

It's really hard to sit through 30 minute videos that dissect how games are rendering frames. it's really interesting, but I can't muster the attention span, I'm not sure who can. He had the gaming world's attention for a full week which is invaluable, that's worth millions, but it was a flash in the pan and now it's gone. Crazy to think about.
