Some news, good or bad IDK. It seems like I was getting a bunch of miss measurements before by relying on redrawing the mark in the same spot on the skin.
Using the board to redraw the line before measuring, I found that somehow my skin shifted up 1cm during the night (I guess saw palmetto was causing skin tightening, I think there was something about that in the study).
So I don't know if there is actually an immediate swelling, or if it's because I'm measuring higher. It seems to only be 0.5cm difference now, if there's one at all. I'll need to try to be more accurate in the next few days to make sure
IDK if you're still testing, and I don't know how you were deciding dot placement, but maybe try measuring from the floor or wall (with your foot against it) to see if the markings are in distinctly different locations
