anyone else here think the pickguards on jaguar/jazzmaster body shape looks dorky and makes the guitars look ancient?

the only non-pickguard jaguar/jazzmaster shaped guitar Ive found is an old signature guitar for Blues Saraceno back in the 90s (picrel)
