With the design of the slide, there isn't enough material for a direct mount. The firing pin block has a plunger that moves up and out of the slide when fired, that has to be redesigned or modified to mount the optic plates low - the Beretta OEM cut does nothing to it so they have to mount the slide 1/8 or 1/4 higher than they have to.
LTT uses a mounting plate with C&H Precision T nuts so the threads for the optic go up and into the optic so the plate can be super thin and just hold the Tnuts in little slots. Downside to those is that they use 4-40 screws.

For a 92FS optic cut, there's nothing LTT does to the front sight so you won't get BUIS which is half the point of their cut. There are pin on sights for the 92FS/M9 which make them super tall to use adjustable rears that might be the right height for a LTT cut but I haven't seen anyone do that. The EPS plate and how low the EPS is you might be able to get away with the stock iron height, it won't shoot POI/POA but it'll be for back up use only.
