Barriss as an Inquisitor makes sense and Ahsoka should have had a role in bringing her back to the Light Side. But you need to give her a good reason to even be an Inquisitor instead of just being recruited to be one.
Trilla's motivations are very clear and very good. Her master betrays her and she gets captured and tortured. In her mind, her master is the reason why she's getting tortured and she develops a hatred for her and for the Order that brought this suffering onto her. She hates the Jedi because being a Jedi only brought her anguish.
