To clarify, Coma is an status effect, but enemies don't cast Coma directly, they use Dark Blessing, which Shadow Armor helps against.
You can still get coma'd by effects of weapons and such.

I got a few hundred hours in multiple fighters, some with a few thousands, and some that I don't even know how much I played because they're indie games like Melty AACC, WanWan, Jew Puncher, Soku, etc.
Ragnarok's PvP does require a bit of skill, match-up knowledge and what not, but also any amount of skill gets completely negated the moment potion spam enters the equation.
