Honestly why NOT just fire Lynch for that? I guess since they went to an Owl he's untouchable for at least a little while. But he essentially stumbled into Purdy by sheer dumb luck, and if he hadn't done that the team would be fucked for the foreseeable future. And, as you say, they've been missing picks they could have used to put more talent on the team AROUND Purdy while he was still on his ultra-cheap contract.
Shanny can stay, I don't think he had too much of a hand in the Lance trade. But Lynch should have been fired when Lance got proved to be a bust. That trade was a fireable offense that Lynch was only saved from by basically an Act of God.
