You wanted FFVII Remake to replace the original game and be contained to one release, for everything to be the same and for the cutscenes, gameplay and world map to only be marginally improved compared to the original, all in order to fit the entire game into that single development cycle. I get it. You would still hate it because it's different and trashed it for years anyways though
