I'm sick of game engines becoming bloated for not particular reason as to add more and more features to retards.

I can't stand godot adding useless BS like screen readers instead of making faster to generate an avatar code.

I don't like other engines, because the engine I want is basically rpg maker but for 2D metroidvanias and beatem ups and action rpgs.

How dificult is to actually learn C++ and use SDL to make my own basic game with it?
