Sure it won't. It doesn't say it won't bring its development/support almost to a halt. I know they live in their discord bubble but in this day and age it's not hard to cross reference release schedules, content released in general with their whatever it is that they're claiming.
And as a side note, these CMs aren't very good at relaying information. They really couldn't find anyone better to communicate between studio and community?
