There's a huge passing gap between black and white HSTSes. Granted, most of the white trans here seem to me to be at least partially gynephilic (don't have the mannerisms or walk or voice of flamers), but I've never seen a black hsts who passed nearly as well as a white one (white ones take 30 seconds to figure out they are men, especially if they've had ffs), I've never seen a black troon with ffs, and they tend to look like prostitutes and there's way more overlap between very fem black gay men and hsts, whereas for white gay men the line between femmes and trans women is more stark and trans women (here) tend to dress far more demurely than black trans women do, if still often in clocky overly tight fits.

It feels to me like a cultural difference. For blacks, you just have to signal you are a super-fruit, and that's most of it. There's no burden or expectation to pass, whereas white trans women seem to be trying their hardest to blend in (for the most part).
