I still don't get this part. Unless I missed something or fell asleep during some parts, what exactly did she suffer from? Being taken away from her colony and branded as a terrorist?
Her parents are still alive, she didn't see anyone close to her get killed in front of her, she didn't kill someone that's close to her, or at all for that matter.
She didn't experience war at all, no other newtypes and cyber-newtypes conflict while trying to understand each other.

Not to mention this scene had accompanying melodramatic sound track with Chalia Bull trying to brand her as a hero.
I just don't get it at all.
