While I appreciate the BB advice, my main concern was finding less hard asses in TOW than BB. I've done BB at this point. 10 years of playing it and I am done.

Though yes, Griff or Morgflings or stunties is obvnoxious and I'd refuse to play any of those stupid lists if I ran into them outside if tourneys.

I actually got offered to join a BB group but I was pic related. That said for TOW, the bloke I am playing Friday is lovely and enjoys narrative games too.

Saturday guy I asked if we could meet in the middle as he purposelly said he likes optimised lists. He agreed so that's another plus.
