You are truly the biggest dumb fuck in this thread. What overwatch is doing is far... FAR worse than than crypto and gambling sponsorships. They're partnering up with Saudi Arabia and personally taking handshakes from a guy who the CIA claims personally ordered the execution of a journalist on foreign soil.
The PIF (Saudi Government) wholly owns Savvy Games Group which in turn owns ESL FACEIT group so you can't detach Mohammed bin Salman (Crown Prince who ordered the execution/dismemberment) from any of these OWCS events. For fucks sake, he personally shows up to them.
Now we have FaceIT integration in game along with loud and proud Riyadh sprays. A play where it's literally illegal to be a public homosexual.
I wish for nothing but the absolute worst on the executives at Blizzard and their game deserves to fail. CS and Fighting games both support grassroot competitions still, Overwatch is entirely controlled under the iron fist of Blizzard because they wouldn't dare let anyone else steal what little revenue that generates for small time tournament organizers.
