>Iskander was forced to give up on world conquest because his own army wanted to go home
>Saber was so just a king, that her knights were so devoted to the point those who betrayed her like Lancelot were maddened by grief
>Berserker's final thoughts emphasise this
Iskander was clearly in the wrong. The point is that Saber is so regretful over the fall of Camelot that she can't stand up for herself. Her entire arc is claiming the grail to erase herself from history and give the role to someone "more worthy".
I only wish there'd been a bit in F/Z where Berserker got to slap Rider a little as if there'd been a perceived sleight.
