Every character in this game is basically a lens into their given faction, how well they pull off being that lens determines how good of a character they are. Jae fails to make either the Cold Trade or being a former Imperial Guard interesting at all, and she really comes off as subpar as a result. The only character I think is worse is Yrliet, who is perhaps the worst written and executed Eldar of all time in 40K fiction. There are so many interesting things about Craftworld Eldar and they did and showed exactly zero of them with her.
