Three factors that occurred around the same time, the introduction of captcha, the wait timer to post, and Twitter being purchased by Elon.

I don’t put much effort into my posts here, it is pissing in a sea of piss after all, entering in a captcha already disenfranchised me and probably cut down on the number of posts I’d make by half, the timer cut it in half again.

I can go on Twitter and post without jumping through all the hoops 4chan introduced. Sure, I get less (you)s, but the upfront time investment to submit my post to Twitter has slowly made it my go to for shitposting.

Ive been browsing and posting on 4chan since 2005. The recent changes have really made this place worse, not better.
