Battlefield 2142 had the best pistols. The top break revolver is superior, but I've always thought that the PAC pistol had some really logical improvements for a video game gun, with a fixed top rail and flip-up red dot sight.

Then Human Revolution followed the same idea and made the 10mm op as balls. There was no point in using any other gun, even the revolver didn't have the range of the 10mm.
