i thought the manga peaked in the chapter 1 spread, but then it just got better and better
the twist was solid
the ending was extremely meh, which is kind of a bummer, but eh.
you know what could be a cool ending
takopi dies like in the manga but for some reason(deus ex machina) the timeline is different. marina's dad leaves but takes marina with him instead of leaving him with the psycho mother and then moves into shizuka's mum's house(cause they fuck). seemingly a happy ending, since marina won't get fucked up by her mom and won't hate shizuka, except both of them can remember the previous loops. manga ends with them recognizing the other can remember the loops, so shizuka knows marina can become a super bitch, and marina knows shizuka can literally kill her. last panel is a spread of both of them sitting a distance away on a bed in a room, in a frog perspective fisheye lens style.
