I dunno man, maybe it’s just because I’ve grown from child to manchild but the way kids nowadays talk about becoming a youtuber feels… off. Like you said, I remember people wanting to become a youtuber because it looked like a lot of fun or you could get super popular and then everyone would like you. The kids I’ve talked to (at least the ones who watch fuckers like MrBeast, the Pauls, that one dude that crashed his car whose name escapes me, etc. Y’know THAT kind of youtuber) ONLY seem interested about how much money they could make. Not wanting to do it because they have passion for something but just to get that fucking bag. It just seems so soulless.
