Problem with that is the weapons layout. Astral doesn't really give a shit since you know, carrier first two large missiles second. Aurora and Ody? Forward armed out the ass and fast. Eradicator kinda as well. Upscaled apogee has been done to death already.
Then you have the challenge 1 (to my knowledge simply) with not being able to setup dreadnaught style firing arcs. Screws up certain capital ship configurations something fierce. Then there's 2 with height. Capitals have enough canvass to somewhat simulate dimensions but all weapons have the same layer and that will clip like a motherfucker if close enough.

But sure, I don't have a problem with less than conventional setups 3 if you throw some ideas my way and I like em.
