I've also driven from Virginia to California and that takes four days factoring nine hours a day to sleep and eat. Unless you have teleportation, and the average rando doesn't, the fastest way to travel is by airship, and that's only fast because it avoids terrain it'll still be slower than the average modern-day car. So even if a mortal realm was as big as three Russia's, that's unfathomably enormous for 99% of inhabitants.
