Swedish media report that Russia is carrying out work on nuclear facilities located near Europe.

Russia is becoming more and more dangerous every day.

▪ According to SVT, satellite images from May 2025 show a Russian base in Kaliningrad that may be used to store nuclear weapons. In recent years, the base has been expanded and modernized. New buildings, a triple-layered security fence, and new equipment have appeared on the site. According to the Polish government, approximately 100 tactical nuclear warheads are stored in Kaliningrad.

▪ At the Asipovichy base in Belarus, a Soviet-era nuclear weapons storage facility is also being upgraded. In particular, a new loading platform for railway transport and air defense systems have been observed there.

▪ On the Kola Peninsula, which borders Finland and Norway, around 50 bunker-style storage facilities have been built for ballistic missiles launched from submarines. A special pier for loading missiles onto submarines has also been recorded.
