Jesus, that unredeemable, huh? Having the reference right next to the sketch is how I manage proportions so everything else is just me attempting to break down shapes and gestures. I’m super tense when I draw and I feel like it shows. I only have a few months of cumulative experience at best so I’m hopeless at line work.
