Its kind of crazy to me how bad star wars has done with games, its such an easy property to monetize at any point during its history they could have just set a game in the high republic era so it doesn't affect the movies or anything Lucas wanted to do and then let players create their own Jedi/Sith OC with some generic story that let you choose your side and they would have been set
