DEldar are comically evil and absolutely abominable in every aspect. Do you think edgy dweebs would gravitate towards Skelethor or the Punisher. NLs even have full blown defenders claiming they never did anything wrong or were victims of trauma, which well Ferrus Manus, Leeman Russ and Jaghatai Khan all came from shitty backgrounds yet none of them became murder hobos. It was Kurze being a absolute dweeb and going out of his way to make his schizophrenic delusions true that the NLs ended up the way they are. It's edgy because they can be reedemable while the DEldar in their majority are seen as irredemable and horribly super duper evil, not in lore but just the general way the community views them.
Also skin flaying is not edgy at all for 40k and is in fact incredibly common amongst at least half the factions in the game.
To add on top of that: Anything Khorne related I have ever seen made really gives off those roider gymfag post-cuck "I will make them all pay" vibes to it. Never found Khorne particularly appealing and he has by far the most boring looking demons.
