They want the world that existed when the Vita was still the dominant Otaku handheld to come back, thinking they can mold the switch 2 into it. They're in for bankruptcy or a complete change of management until they get the fucking hint that none of these companies are on their side.
If you want to see another set of companies that are on their way to the poor house, look at Idea Factory (releasing literal garbage ware while only staying afloat because of Neptunia) and poor, dumb Marvelous (STILL thinking farming sims will save them when the last one did terribly). Genuine stupid motherfucker syndrome.
