Denji tries to have sex with Yoru without Asa’s consent (this is rape), but Fujimoto isn’t a good enough writer to meaningfully address it
The story never portrays him as wrong for this. Not even Asa cares about it
Fujimoto wants to have flawed characters, but he lacks the chops to actually hold them accountable when they do shitty things so he just falls back on “awww poor Denji is so traumatized so it’s not his fault”.
If Fujimoto wrote Bojack Horseman, he would try to make Bojack look like the victim for all the shitty things he does because he has trauma so that automatically absolves him from any wrongdoing
