It was always a romance story I don't know what this person is complaining about with 3 delving into more of core problems of the relationship. Also you see plenty of the world in chapter 3 with the flashbacks and brief encounter with the cops, the encounter with Julia and Andrew's friend and it fleshes out more on demon world and demon entities. I'm sorry but a lot of this doesn't make sense.
