Pretty much. Modern video game discourse is horrific really. It's either blatant shilling, dommerism turned up to 11 about AAA games and wokeshit (which every knows are shit) while ignoring good new indie or AA games , shitting on games you won't and don't play or other non-normal, overly cynical behaviors. I just ignore most of these posts without seeing any gameplay or genuine reason to hate a game and consider it outrage porn by people with no lives.

Exhibit A. Like you have niggers getting this mad over the fact that not every game needs to be a philosophical novel. Games like Nier:Automata do but Drakengard 3 was literally Yoko Taro taking the piss for the majority of the story. Stellar Blade's story is decent, but not why you'd buy the game. You should've bought it because it's a solid action game with hot badass robowaifus in it. SB wears what it is on it's sleeve and does it very well, which is more than what most AAA games can claim.
