Voilà ce que les chiffres donnent quand on considère que les immigrés (toujours arrivés légalement après 1991. Les chiffres de l'INSEE ne comprennent pas les permis de travail/de séjour, les travailleurs détachés etc.) ont un taux de natalité et de mortalité égal à celui national. Depuis 91, ce sont 171 630 enfants nés d'immigrés qui viennent porter le nombre d'immigrés à 4,5 millions en 2024, soit 6,58% de la population.

In total since 1991 (and that is, for people that have immigrated in France AFTER 1991, not before), that's 4,842 million people, more than 1/3 of Île-de-France. I ran a little projection and found out that immigrants that came after 1991 today make 6,58% of the population
The population gain of France is 1/3 immigration and 2/3 births with births freefalling, and what's worse, the average age of immigrants has gone up significantly, from 23 in 1991 to 30 today
